Scores

1–5 per dimension by the published rubric. Each score links to its evidence. Blank means no public evidence yet.

DimensionScoreEvidence
Plan quality4Seven-zone power/HR zones, automatic FTP detection, fitness/fatigue/form tracking, recovery score from sleep and HRV, and a long-published sweet-spot methodology; vendor-stated only, no independent confirmation. evidence checked 2026-10-13
Adaptation3Vendor documents chat-requested revisions and a morning recovery read from sleep/HRV; TrainerRoad forum users (2024) confirm revisions work but report a trial plan that ignored the event date and no taper. evidence checked 2026-10-13
Workout feedback3Workouts push with power targets to Zwift/Rouvy/head units and every ride gets an AI analysis; TrainerRoad forum users (2024) found the feedback overly positive and 'more entertaining than helpful', and vendor (Dec 2025) says per-interval analysis is still to come. evidence checked 2026-10-13
Coaching relationship4Chat knows ride data and revises the plan on request, a daily recovery read is produced each morning, and unlimited messaging with FasCat human coaches is included; forum users confirm a human answers in-app chat but call the AI chat 'more entertaining than helpful'. evidence checked 2026-10-13
Transparency3Post-ride and morning analyses explain metrics (OTS, xPower, HRV vs baseline) in plain language and the method is published on the blog; per-change triggers are not documented. evidence checked 2026-10-13
Value for money3USD 34.99/month or 210/year includes human-coach messaging; forum users split between 'too expensive for what it offers me' and 'annual comparable to TrainerRoad'. evidence checked 2026-10-13
Athlete sentiment3Two-page TrainerRoad thread (Feb-Jul 2024) is mixed: outdoor-ride handling praised, scheduling and sync criticised; App Store 4.3/5 from 81 ratings. evidence checked 2026-10-13
